- The catwalk trend continues with supermodel Karolina Kurkova announcing this week that she is expecting her first child with her fiance.

- Looking Stylish at 6 months, we love Sarah Michelle Gellars' casual chic look. Spotted in LA wearing casual denim and comfotable knits we couldn't help but be inspired by her smart casual style.

MLM Simple Step Bra Fitting guide....

Did you know that 85% of women are wearing the wrong bra size?!

You may feel perfectly comfortable, but the likelihood is that you are probably wearing the wrong size right now! During pregnancy wearing the correct bra is of significant importance; not only will your breasts change size/shape, but you may find that your bust area suffers from tenderness and irritation, making the bra you wear the most important item you purchase.

So how do you measure your bra size?

Simply follow these 3 easy steps to give you the most accurate measurement:

  • Take a soft measuring tape, and wear a bra that you feel best supports your chest.

Step 1:

  • First take a deep breath and exhale, expanding your ribcage to its fullest.
  • Using the soft measuring tape, measure the circumference of your underbust, keeping the measuring tape taut, straight and held flat against your body. You should measure the area closest to your breasts avoiding breast tissue.

  • Take a note of this measurement as it will be the basis of your band size calculation.

Step 2:

  • Next take the measurement of your overbust; to do this you must measure the circumference of the fullest part of your bust, the tape should be flat against your back, but held fairly loosely around your breasts ensuring the tape sits completely straight. This measurement will determine your cup size.

Step 3:

  • Now enter the measurements you have taken from step 1 and 2, into the bra calculator below. Press calculate to to get your bra size !

Model Mummies

With both Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum recently announcing their pregnancies, here at mama-la-mode we can’t resist checking out their maternity style. We love Heidi’s cool boho look, accessorised with stylish gladiator sandals and bright accessories, and doesn't Gisele exudes the essence of tumbled chic in a tunic top and denim hot pants?! Of course it's easy when you have legs for it, and so we suggest cropped maternity jeans instead for us mere mortals!

conceal...it's

The gorgeous Cheryl Cole has got us talking ! How on earth did she manage to keep the Alexander McQueen dress she wore to her 26th birthday party in place? Well we think we have the answer; Fashion First Aids range of wardrobe fixers will make sure that unruly clothing can be easily restrained . These little gems are designed to control extreme plunging necklines, or to provide just enough coverage to protect your modesty, À la J-Lo in that infamous Versace green dress !

These clever creations cover a whole range of practical wardrobe uses, and we’ve found these little instructional videos to help give you a little inspiration as to how mama-la-mode's range of Fashion First Aid can be used to fix your wardrobe dilemmas.

p.s. Concealits are also fantastic for covering an 'outie' whilst pregnant, and perfect for sticking on to smooth contours under an evening dress - only you and your bump will know!

Mama-la-mode in The Times

'It is possible to look stylish when pregnant' said the lovely and expecting Times Fashion Editor Carolyn Asome today.....She wrote a fantastic double page spread on styling for two; click here to read the article.

She is a absolutely lovely and a big fan of mama-la-mode; petite with a perfect bump, who like us does not understand why you would need to give up fashion and style just because you are pregnant !
